I have discovered a new favorite PIE! Chocolate Chipper Pie

Searching for something new to bake for dessert, I flipped through many recipes in my collection snagged from magazines.  And then I found it - chocolate, pecans and coconut!  How could this not be good?
Chocolate Chipper Pie is actually a gift mix you can prepare to give at the holidays.  Gifts of food are always great - and so appreciated. But sometimes, a family gets so much cake and cookies, they are overloaded with goodies that need to be eaten.  Mixes like this are great as the recipient can bake it later when it is convenient for them.  This is a winner to give - or to receive!
Recipe taken from Country Woman Magazine
Chocolate Chipper Pie
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 cup butter melted
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup (6 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup flaked coconut
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 9in unbaked pie shell

In a large bowl, combine the eggs, butter, sugar and flour.  Mix well.  Stir in the chocolate chips, coconut, and pecans.  Mix well.  This will be a thick batter, almost like cookie dough - though not quite as thick.
Spoon into pie shell.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until filling is set and crust is golden brown.
